BIOPONIC PHYTOCEUTICALS EXECUTIVE BIOGRAPHIES
Steven M. Schorr, 52, Chairman, CEO and Director, is an inventor/entrepreneur and scientist. Mr. Schorr is an executive with 25 years experience in the development of biotechnology, products and business. His duties have included product conception, design and development, manufacturing, maintaining research laboratories and directing scientific discovery programs; directing business planning and marketing strategies; and implementing biotechnology projects in the U.S. and abroad. He has authored 20 U.S. and International Patents, including an U.S. patent on the aeroponic technology (US. Patent No. 4,514,930 for a "Method and Apparatus for Aeroponic Plant Propagation", dated May 1985), and four patents for innovations in the Airponic™ process and product design. Mr. Schorr is the author of the Company’s recent patent application covering its Bioresonant Phytotherapeutic technology.
Mr. Schorr co-founded and was President and Co-CEO of the company’s predecessor Bioponic International (a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ Bulletin Board) from July, 1991 through September, 1999. Bioponic International developed the Airponic Growing System under his leadership. In 1996 Mr. Schorr was instrumental in the acquisition of MR3 Systems, a company with breakthrough technology in metallurgical extraction. In 1997 the Company went public and traded under the call symbol (NASDAQ:BPON). In 1999, Bioponic AGS was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary and subsequently moved its headquarters and production facilities to Maui, Hawaii. In 2000, Bioponic AGS was "spun-off" from Bioponic International, into a separate public company. Bioponic International then changed its name to MR3 Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRMR) reflecting its core business in metallurgical extraction. Mr. Schorr continued on as a director of MR3 Systems, Inc. until December of 2001. In 2003, Bioponic AGS changed its name to Bioponic Phytoceuticals to reflect the company’s primary business focus in bioresonant phytotherapeutics and the natural products business.
Gary Abreim 62, Chief Financial Officer, is a problem-solving professional with successful financial and operational management experience building well-performing cost conscious teams in the corporate finance, investment services, manufacturing and consumer product fields. Mr. Abreim has worked as a business development consultant and interim CFO providing services in the areas of financial reporting, planning and systems implementation and monitoring, cash management, asset recovery and workouts. From 1990 to 1999, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Ally Capital Group, an asset management company, merchant bank and SBIC, where he was responsible for managing the general operations, treasury function, tax administration, portfolio management, systems development and financial reporting and regulatory compliance for $70MM of portfolio assets. Prior to joining Ally, from 1987 to 1990, he was Chief Financial Officer of MML International, a London-based financial services and investment banking firm and NASD broker/dealer. Mr. Abreim is also the treasurer of several non-profits that provide medical, educational and hunger relief in less developed countries. Mr. Abreim received an MBA from UCLA and his CPA with a Big 5 accounting firm.
Hamiel O. Schorr, 26, Vice President of Product Design. A graduate of the Arizona State University Industrial and Product Design program at the School of Architecture and Environmental Design, Mr. Schorr has led product identity and branding development since inception of the bioresonant phytoceutical program.
